Bonding

This patient is missing a lower left anterior tooth and does not like the discolorations on the adjacent teeth. Dr. Sterling bonded both the adjacent teeth together and shaped what used to be an empty space to look like a real tooth.

This patient was missing both his left and right lateral teeth and was very unhappy with the spacing. Because orthodontic treatment is to be completed on a later date, Dr. Sterling filled in the spaces by bonding a resin material and shaping it like a tooth.

This patient was very unhappy with the shape of her two front teeth and wanted them to appear more even, like the rest of her teeth. Dr. Sterling applied direct bonding to the patient’s two front teeth and shaped them as the patient wanted.

This patient had amalgam fillings completed at a much earlier date by another dentist. Displeased with the color, the patient had Dr. Sterling remove the old fillings and replaced them with a resin material the same color as her natural teeth. This greatly enhanced the patients’ confidence when speaking, knowing that she did not have a discoloration that could be seen by other people.

This patient was displeased with the positioning of her upper right lateral. She did not like how it sat on the inside of her lower teeth. Dr. Sterling explained to the patient that orthodontics would be more suitable as the rest of the patients teeth are not in ideal positions. However, the patient was only interested in correcting the one tooth so Dr. Sterling applied a direct bond to the tooth and shaped it as if the tooth was in the correct position.
